What is Microneedleing?
Microneedling is a procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars including acne and acne scars, wrinkles, and large pores and pigmentation, or discolorationcalled hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.
How does it work?
As soon as the deepest layers of your skin are penetrated by the needles, “micro-wounds” are created. This triggers your body's wound healing processes to heal your micro wounds immediately. However, the most dramatic results will not be visible until four to six weeks after treatment.
